Just a Cosmos

This daisy stands out to me because its yellow disc appears to be a happy place, which draws the eye toward the center of the whole picture..The pureness in white, or to me-the state of being, is captured delicately on the petals-which are further enhanced by shadows. The darkness all around appears to be grey areas-like in life-what we are unsure of. Its green stem, which represents a pillar of hope, is stronger at the base of the flower and slowly fades out-which to me resembles giving strength, uplifting and gently letting go-to form the new adjacent buds again.. In some ways, I do kind of wish there was a hint of blue to cut through the black and compliment the yellow, and to be able to faintly see the leaves as well as stems of the buds on the right hand top corner but I get that the flower is the main attraction and therefore is the only colored focus.
