Ok any experienced photographer knows the answer why does this look the way it does. I would like to have anyone else guess why.

It is a reflection in my outdoor wildlife water bowl so you know what it is but why does it appear this way?

Only because the leaves were far away using a 300mm lens at a very close distance so DOF was very obvious.
