At the time of this shoot it was just past noon and the sun was really hidden so not much contrast and I did compensate some so the face wasn't to dark. I guess that kinda gives it a flat look.

it does look flat but vibrant too so it works for me and I think part of photography as Art is getting outside the box of whats considered to work best too...
and sometimes that uniqueness works for adverting too
like adds with no sound or photos that are not right..designed to catch the attention by the something thats not right :)...the oddity grabs the eye

this I place more thought in an artistic flavor Russ :)
and Karolina works beautifully in these ones

I always value your comments and hopefully some of my shots will get her some modeling jobs.

yeah modelings a hard game I've known a few girls into it
there is the other side of modeling too like foot hand modeling so you may want to experiment there too photo wise (and take a more critical eye to how adverts do it)

Actually the trouble with doing things like this is you start to develop a critical eye in how things are done
I know from my work with graphics arts..so you kinda are looking for how it was done and not so much appreciating it for what it is...just a point to watch your mind tripping on occasionally

I am sure some of yours are great additions to her portfolio Russ & will help her

Well thank you so much appreciated :)
but no expert, just as I see it..
:)
