For some reason I really like how her peck is bright orange and that it matches with the feathers on the top of her head.

Yes I have but not close enough to get them in the same shot and usually they fly away quickly when they hear the camera click.

I don't know for sure. I think there are more than 2 because expecially the males look to be different sizes.
